Astrocastro is a content operations consultancy based in Nakuru, Kenya, focused entirely on helping businesses generate measurable returns from their content investment.
What Astrocastro does and why it exists
Astrocastro was founded in 2021 in Nakuru after seeing the same pattern repeat across Kenyan businesses of all sizes: a marketing budget allocated to content, a pile of published posts with no performance data, and a team with no repeatable process to fall back on. We exist specifically to solve that structural problem. Our work is not ghostwriting, not social media management, and not ad creative — it is the architecture underneath those activities. We design the editorial strategy that decides what gets made, the pipeline that decides how it gets made, the onboarding that decides who makes it well, and the analytics layer that decides whether any of it was worth making. Every engagement ends with a documented, functional content operation that your team owns and runs without us — because a system that depends on a consultant indefinitely is not a system, it is a subscription.
Who we work with and how we work
Our clients are typically marketing managers, heads of content, and founders at Kenyan businesses — from manufacturers in Nakuru's industrial corridor to fast-growing SaaS companies based in Nairobi — who have between two and fifteen people touching content and no structured process connecting them. Since 2021 we have completed over 60 content factory engagements and trained more than 200 content professionals across the country. Our process is deliberately linear: discovery before architecture, architecture before training, training before analytics. We don't skip stages because shortcuts create the same structural problems our clients hired us to fix. We are honest about scope limits: if you need content created before a system is in place, we'll tell you that the ROI of a factory setup is lower until you have a baseline of published content to build from — and we'll recommend a path that sequences the investment correctly. Engagements are fixed-scope, fixed-price, and time-bounded. We take on a limited number of clients per quarter to protect delivery quality.
